Bezalkonium Chloride or BKC is a member of the quaternary ammonium class of biocides, which is recognised for its dual biocidal and detergency properties. It offers rapid, safe and powerful antimicrobial activity at a low concentration. Its strong detergency ensures ease of removal of organic soil which harbours microbes.

Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride or DDAC has both powerful surfactant and disinfectant properties.
